After a humiliating 4-0 weekend loss against fellow strugglers Charlton Athletic, Manchester United loanee Ethan Galbraith helped Doncaster Rovers grab a point away to Crewe Alexandra.
In the clash between League One’s bottom two sides, it was the Railwaymen who opened the scoring at the Mornflake Stadium through veteran Chris Porter.
But Joseph Olowu, who had a short spell on trial with United in the summer after being released by Arsenal at the end of last season, brought Richie Wellens’ side level.
The point kept both sides at the foot of the League One table, but it was Galbraith who was trying to secure the three points for his loan side.

In an industrious display, Galbraith won five ground duels and two aerial duels, as well making three tackles, three interceptions and three clearances.

Doncaster host Fleetwood Town next in the league, who sit one place above them in the table.
But first they face Scunthorpe United, who currently sit bottom of League Two, in the FA Cup first round on Saturday, which will be Galbraith’s first taste of FA Cup action.
