BBC Sport pundit Troy Deeney singled out two Manchester United players for his Team of the Week after the 2-1 win over Manchester City on Sunday evening.
The Red Devils defied the odds and produced a sensational comeback in the dying stages of the Premier League showdown at the Etihad.
Josko Gvardiol opened the scoring for Manchester City in the first half before Bruno Fernandes found the back of the net in the 88th minute of the tie.
Only two minutes after Bruno Fernandes converted his penalty, Amad Diallo snatched the winner for Manchester United in the 2-1 derby victory.
United are currently six points adrift from the Premier League top four and five points behind fifth-place City after Sunday’s result.
Ruben Amorim’s men could still challenge for a place in the top four and remain in the race for Champions League football, despite the uphill task they face this season.

Deeney praises ‘excellent’ Man Utd star
Speaking for BBC Sport, Troy Deeney revealed the publication’s Team of the Week after the latest round of Premier League fixtures.
Amad Diallo was a standout performer for Manchester United in the derby and the 22-year-old winger earned high praise for his display at the Etihad.
The Ivorian attacker was deployed out on the right flank and Amad was devastating against Manchester City, including earning a penalty for United in the second half.
Deeney insisted that Amad was a “no-brainer” pick for him and said the Ivory Coast international is only “growing better and better” as a player.
“It’s been really difficult to pick the forwards this week but Amad Diallo is the only one who is a no-brainer,” he said.
“He was excellent, flipped the Manchester derby on its head. As a young man, he just seems to be growing better and better.”
Deeney ‘surprised’ by one Man Utd player
United will switch their attention away from the Premier League and return to action on Thursday evening against Tottenham for their Carabao Cup quarter-final tie.
Ruben Amorim’s side received a much-needed momentum boost with their win in the Manchester derby ahead of their visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Manuel Ugarte, much like Amad, produced a solid performance against City and Deeney admitted that United’s summer signing caught him by complete surprise.
“He has really, really surprised me. I know it’s still early days under the new manager, but Ugarte has a bit of bite about him,” Deeney explained.
“He’s a bit horrible and even at 1-0 down he was making important tackles, blocks and getting attacks started.”
