Benjamin Sesko cannot escape criticism at Manchester United and Troy Deeney is the latest to take aim at the young striker.
Despite scoring twice in the Premier League this season, Benjamin Sesko was criticised by Gary Neville for not settling in as quickly as fellow signings Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
Neville’s criticism of Sesko is unfair considering the 22-year-old is adapting to a new club and the toughest league in the world.
Wayne Rooney chose to praise Sesko and disagree with Neville, pointing out that the Slovenian has been an upgrade for United.
However, former Premier League striker Troy Deeney questioned Sesko and believes he has spotted a change in his performances.

Troy Deeney believes Benjamin Sesko is ‘overthinking’ at Man Utd
It looked as though Sesko had found some rhythm at United when he scored in back-to-back games against Brentford and Sunderland.
How would you rate Manchester United’s season after 11 Premier League games?
However, Sesko was unable to build on his form and now a knee injury against Tottenham means he could be out of action for a while.
Speaking on The Football Exchange, Deeney spoke about Sesko and explained that he believes the young striker is now “overthinking” at United.
“I think that he had two opportunities that came his way and he was like a deer in the headlights.
“It’s like now he’s thinking about everything which is so strange because it was only a few games ago he went back-to-back, so it seems really strange that now he’s overthinking it.”
Benjamin Sesko will have to handle Man United media spotlight
Media attention comes as a package for any player when they sign for United.
Ruben Amorim is able to use the media for his advantage, but supporters have often seen players crumble under the pressure of playing for United.
Criticism is around every corner, and often comes from club legends who have won every trophy around.
However, Sesko is showing an elite mentality, so hopefully he has what it takes to ride the criticism and use it as fuel to improve and silence his critics.
United insiders are wowed by Sesko, and Amorim has also admitted to being surprised by the £66m summer signing. As long as he has confidence from those inside Carrington, he must learn how to block the outside noise.
