Benjamin Sesko arrived at Manchester United as a player with huge potential and it seems the £66m signing is doing everything possible to fulfil it.
Manchester United decided a change was needed at centre-forward this summer and Christopher Vivell pushed for Benjamin Sesko to be Ruben Amorim’s new striker.
Rasmus Hojlund wanted to stay at United, but he was pushed down the pecking order by Amorim and ultimately loaned to Napoli.
Benjamin Sesko has scored twice in his first 11 Premier League appearances, but he has attracted criticism from Gary Neville for not making as big an impact as fellow additions Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
Against Tottenham, Sesko’s knee injury only added to his misery. However, fans should have no doubt about his ability to not only bounce back, but to come back even stronger.

What Benjamin Sesko has been doing at Carrington
Amorim admits he was surprised by Sesko following his arrival in Manchester. The 22-year-old has shown an eagerness to learn and improve himself in every area.
Sporting director Jason Wilcox also praised Sesko for his impact on the side and how he has settled at a new club.
How would you rate Manchester United’s season after 11 Premier League games?
According to The Telegraph, Sesko often turns up at Carrington at 8am despite players not being required to report in at 9:45am.
Diogo Dalot helped Sesko settle in Manchester, and the Portuguese defender often accompanies Sesko in the hyperbaric chamber – equipment which boosts the oxygen levels and muscle preparation.
After a training session, Sesko also stays behind to aid his recovery, including massages, sauna and ice baths.
Benjamin Sesko is following in Cristiano Ronaldo’s footsteps
Sesko has the potential to become elite at United, and it seems his work rate and attitude behind the scenes are exactly what Amorim is looking for.
Standing at 6ft 5in with an incredible vertical leap, Sesko has Cristiano Ronaldo-esque athleticism, and it seems the young Slovenian has also taken a leaf out of Ronaldo’s book when it comes to preparation and recovery.
Ronaldo recently questioned United’s mentality, and during his time in Manchester, the 40-year-old was often the first in training and the last to leave. Ronaldo often did extra training sessions at Carrington, despite his criticism of the club’s facilities.
Sesko may not have set the world alight during his first few months at United, but he certainly has the right mentality to succeed here.
