After beating Lyon in the Europa League, Ruben Amorim confirmed he will play academy talents in the Premier League to give them some essential experience in senior football.

Collyer is popular in United’s dressing room, with Lisandro Martinez hailing him as a “big example for the young generation”.

In the summer, fans can expect Ineos to target players who will add more pace and power to Amorim’s lineup. Collyer has proven this season that he is more than ready for top-flight football physically.
