Mauricio Pochettino is being strongly linked with a move to Manchester United.
The Mail reported this week of Pochettino’s desire to take up the job permanently, and that he would be willing to do so immediately.
There will need to be difficult conversations between United and PSG to make this happen, and The Times report these have not got off to the best start.
Relations could become even more fractious if Pochettino decides to raid PSG for players once at United.
The likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar will be off limits, while Kylian Mbappe already seems to have other plans which don’t involve staying with Pochettino.
There are players who Pochettino may be interested in bringing to United, and here is a look at three of them…

Idrissa Gueye
Manchester United have been linked with PSG’s Gueye in the past. The Mail reported he was under consideration by Solskjaer, but United’s inability to sell midfielders made a deal difficult.
Gueye is 32, but he is a player with Premier League experience who is a specialised defensive midfielder.
With Pochettino fully aware of his qualities, he could look to bring Gueye along too. The midfielder has started eight Ligue 1 games this season and also chipped in with three goals.
As a short-term move, Gueye could replace Nemanja Matic and help bring about an instant change for United.

Ander Herrera
We had to mention him. Pochettino could secure a popular move by bringing Ander Herrera back to Old Trafford.
Providing that Herrera would be willing to accept a pay cut, the Spaniard could have a similarly short-term impact to Gueye.
Even at the age of 32, Herrera is a regular for PSG, also netting three times in eight league starts.
United’s midfield was always better with Herrera in it, compared to when he wasn’t, and coming back for one last run could suit the midfielder.

Xavi Simons
Don’t like the 30+ midfield options? Fair enough. Let’s look at a younger option.
Talented 18-year-old Xavi Simons is regarded as the next big talent, having been snapped up by PSG from Barcelona.
Fabrizio Romano reports Simons will be a free agent next June and he is open to leaving PSG.
The Dutch midfielder was handed his professional debut by Pochettino, and he would be an intriguing option to follow the manager to Manchester, as he would not cost the club a penny.
