How Kobbie Mainoo earned ‘creative moment’ award
Since the start of 2026, the Premier League has been awarding a Creative Moment of the Month award as part of their Adobe partnership.
The Premier League have confirmed that Mainoo won the April award for his moment of brilliance in the 2-1 win over Brentford.
In the first few minutes of the game, Mainoo picked up possession deep in midfield and dribbled his way into Brentford’s box.
He then found a clever pass to Amad Diallo in space, but his shot was blocked. Mainoo would have been a contender for assist of the season, but instead his dribble went without an end result.
However, it has now been acknowledged with an individual Premier League award.
