Manchester United transfer rumours never really stop and there are a handful of stories to add to the more reliable information doing the rounds.
For instance we know Jadon Sancho’s move is close, with Sky reporting a deal is imminent. The Mail report Eduardo Camavinga will become the club’s next target.
But what about the other speculation? Can we trust it? What’s the latest?
Look no further, helpfully we can guide you through what is being said and how seriously to take these rumours…

Kamaldeen Sulemana
United have been linked with Kamaldeen Sulemana for over a month now. He is most likely to move to Ajax.
Danish newspaper Ekstrabladet reported he was in the Netherlands last week ahead of a potential move. The report said Ajax wanted to close the deal for the Ghanaian before United pounced.
Sulemana has now left and returned to Denmark without signing anything with Ajax, Voetball Primeur report.
De Telegraaf reported that while Ajax and FC Nordsjaelland have an agreement, the player has not agreed personal terms, and agent fees still have to be agreed too.
United are still in with a chance, although a move to Ajax would probably be in the player’s best interests, as he would play more regularly.
Sulemana may be holding out for a higher offer from United, or this is part of a game to secure better personal terms or agent fees.

Christoph Baumgartner
A report from German outlet Kicker claimed United have made checks on Austria star Christoph Baumgartner.
The mention is fairly non-specific, meaning these checks could have come just before Euro 2020, or even a year ago.
Baumgartner is a versatile attacking midfielder who can play centrally or wide. He currently plays for Hoffenheim and recently extended his contract until 2025.
At 21, it is very possible United have made checks on the talented midfielder who scored 11 club goals last season. But that’s probably as far as it goes.
We would not rate this move as very likely at all. United would only really have space or need for Baumgartner if a decision was made to cash in on Donny van de Beek, which right now seems premature and unlikely.

Nicolas De La Cruz
Uruguay international Nicolas de la Cruz has been linked with a move to Manchester United. At present this one seems really low on the reliability scale.
The rumours began with TNT Sports in South America reporting United were keen.
This made it’s way into some of the tabloid press in England, and by time TNT Sports had published the article on their website, they were citing the British press as the source of the links.
The story has taken a bit of a life of it’s own too with Edinson Cavani said to have made a recommendation to United.
Look, this is very possible, but once again the player does not really fit what United are looking for.
River Plate star De La Cruz, 24, is an attacking midfielder who like Baumgartner, would not have an obvious place in United’s line-up.
We are all for creative transfer solutions and bargain talents from overseas, but let’s have some defensive midfielders linked to Old Trafford please…
