Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane dismantled a Manchester United star under Ruben Amorim and insisted that the Red Devils player needs to show a “decent attitude.”
Roy Keane was well-known — and widely admired — for his elite mentality and his no-nonsense attitude helped him excel as Manchester United captain in his career.
The 53-year-old Irishman was not afraid to pull no punches towards other players on the pitch and has carried over his cut-throat approach during his time on punditry.
Keane was a linchpin figure under legendary former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and had a sensational impact as a captain for the Red Devils.
The Irish hardman is widely praised by his former United teammates for his playing career at Old Trafford, with Keane being deeply respected for his captaincy.
Keane famously captained United to an iconic treble in the 1998-99 season and played a key role for the Red Devils in the Champions League triumph.
During his time at Old Trafford, the United legend lifted seven Premier League titles, a Champions League trophy and four FA Cups under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Keane was axed by Ferguson in 2005 after their relationship split and the legendary former United captain saw out the remainder of his career at Celtic until 2006.

Keane’s brutal criticism of Man Utd star
Roy Keane was reunited with former Manchester United teammates Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville on the latest episode of the Stick to Football show.
Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, Wayne Rooney dropped his two cents on the situation surrounding United player Marcus Rashford at Old Trafford.
The 39-year-old United and England legend admitted that he urged Marcus Rashford to quit the Red Devils after falling down the pecking order under Ruben Amorim.
Rooney claimed that Rashford was spotting training at Carrington close to where the parents went for the kids’ matches and Keane did not hold back with his rant.
Keane slammed the 27-year-old United and England star’s lack of training and the Red Devils legend insisted that Rashford “must be ashamed” of himself.
“I can’t get involved in the conversation,” he said on The Overlap.
“I still can’t understand at any level – whatever’s going on with players leaving, months left on contracts – a player who doesn’t train properly.
“I don’t understand it; you might as well leave me out of this conversation.
“Especially if you think he wants to move, which is more of a reason to train properly so when you go to a new club you’re up to speed and when you leave the club at least you showed a decent attitude. He must be ashamed.”
What happened to Rashford at Man Utd?
Marcus Rashford has not featured for United since the Red Devils’ 2-1 comeback win over Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League last December.
Ruben Amorim made the big call to drop the England international for the Manchester derby clash at the Etihad after the victory against Viktoria Plzen.
The 40-year-old United boss said that he wanted to see more from Rashford, whose form fell off a cliff in the 2023-24 campaign and his struggles continued this season.
Amorim left the door open for Rashford to prove him wrong and fight for his place in the starting XI, but the United player has not featured for him since he was dropped.
Rashford has hinted that his future lies away from Old Trafford and the likes of Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan have been linked with him.
However, the Three Lions star is under contract with United until 2028 and the Red Devils could struggle to offload Rashford due to his hefty wages.
