Manchester United legend Roy Keane has made his feelings perfectly over where he expects Erik ten Hag’s men to finish in the Premier League table next season.
Erik ten Hag’s side will host Fulham at Old Trafford on Friday for their Premier League opener, with kick-off slated for 8pm UK time.
Manchester United suffered their worst Premier League finish in the 2023-24 season after limping to eighth place in the league table.
Despite United’s disappointing league campaign, Ten Hag’s men signed off last season with their FA Cup triumph against Manchester City at Wembley in May.
Ineos completed an end-of-season review after the FA Cup triumph and opted to extend Ten Hag’s United contract this summer.

Keane makes Premier League prediction for Man Utd
Speaking on Stick to Football, Roy Keane, Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Ian Wright and Jill Scott dropped their Premier League predictions for the new season.
The Stick to Football panel agreed that Manchester City and Arsenal would both make the top four in the 2024-25 Premier League campaign.
Jill Scott and Gary Neville both felt that Manchester United would make the top four, with Keane agreeing with the pair.
“I think United will make [the] top four,” Keane said on The Overlap.
He added: “But a lot will happen… there’s still a couple of weeks [left in the transfer window].”
The Stick to Football panel was divided on the final team in the top four, with United legend Neville backing Tottenham.
“I’m going Tottenham anyway,” Neville said.
When asked by Neville for his pick, Keane responded: “Villa.”
Neville staunchly disagreed with former United teammate Keane over picking Aston Villa before the Irishman hit back in brutal fashion.
“Wow, no, I don’t think so, but anyway,” Neville said.
Responding to Neville, Keane said: “I don’t think f*****g Spurs either.”
The United legend continued: “Villa have more of a chance than Spurs.”
Keane raises concerns about Man Utd
Keane admitted that he remains far from convinced about United after the Sky Sports pundit expressed his concerns over the “spine” of the team.
“It’s always a worry for me about competing and I still worry about the spine of that Manchester United team,” he said.
“For all the nice play they have and good players, I still worry about the goalkeeper and striker.”
Keane added: “On paper, they have a decent squad, but the reality is when they’ve played games, and last year with their record in the league they were so open.
“If you’re on about competing, I worry about the spine of the team.”
