It is still not clear where Jadon Sancho’s future lies this summer once his Manchester United loan deal expires.
After a public fallout with Erik ten Hag at Manchester United, Jadon Sancho was loaned to Chelsea this summer.
It was reported that Chelsea were obliged to buy Sancho for £23m next summer, leaving United fans thinking that the 25-year-old had spent his last day at Old Trafford.
However, that might not be the case as it has since been revealed that Chelsea can pay £5m to reject Sancho and send him back to Manchester.
Sancho has struggled at Chelsea and it has created a growing fear among the United fanbase that he could be returned in the summer.

Jadon Sancho shines for Chelsea in Europa Conference League
Jadon Sancho has been in and out of Chelsea’s starting lineup over the past few weeks, but he played the full 90 minutes of their 3-0 win over Legia Warsaw on Thursday night.
Just hours before Manchester United drew 2-2 with Lyon, Sancho starred for the Blues in Poland and ended his 14-game wait for a goal or assist.
| Minutes played | 90 |
| Assists | 2 |
| Touches | 63 |
| Passes completed | 96% (47/49) |
| Key passes | 5 |
| Big chances created | 2 |
| Duels won | 22% (2/9) |
Sancho registered two assists and was confident with the ball at his feet, completing 96 percent of his passes while creating two big chances.
Man United can avoid £5m Jadon Sancho disaster
Before Chelsea kicked off in Poland, there were reports from the Daily Mail that Sancho was ‘likely’ to return to Old Trafford this summer.
Chelsea beat United to Geovany Quenda to strengthen their options out wide, and there were growing concerns that it could lead to Sancho’s permanent deal falling through.
That would have been a disaster for Ineos, who are trying to raise £100m in player sales this summer.
However, Sancho’s impressive Europa Conference League display will hopefully convince Chelsea chiefs that he can still turn things around at Stamford Bridge – or that he could at least be sold on for more than £23million.
After Sancho’s petty ‘freedom’ dig at United earlier this season, there is simply no way back for him at Old Trafford. His only option is to try and make things work at Chelsea.
