Antony started with three goals in his first three United games before his Old Trafford struggles really set in.
United paid up to £86million for Antony but the Brazilian struggled to live up to that price tag as his confidence hit the floor.
Real Betis star praises Antony
United loaned Antony to Real Betis in January, handing the winger a chance to get back on track in Spain.
So far, the results have been extraordinary.
Antony has been praised in Spain and now has three goals and one assist in four games for Betis.
This is a similar start to Antony’s first weeks at United but the wide man certainly seems to be enjoying himself in Andalusia.
Betis centre back Natan – another Brazilian – has now discussed Antony and his impact since arriving on loan.
Speaking to El Correo, Natan pointed out that Antony has played at a World Cup for Brazil – something only ‘great’ players achieve.
The likes of Roque Junior and Kleberson may somewhat harm that argument but Natan feels that people should not forget what Antony has already achieved.
Natan added that Antony being in such good form has come as something of a surprise, but he will bring ‘a lot of joy’ in his time at Betis.
“Antony played in a World Cup with Brazil, let’s not forget that, only great footballers play in a World Cup,” said Natan.
“We didn’t expect him to be in such good shape, but he’s a great player, I’m close to him every day and he’s happy. He’s going to help us and give us a lot of joy,” he added.

Antony’s form is difficult to ignore and if he wants to still have a future at United, this excellent start at Betis is the right way to go.
The reality is though that United are likely to move Antony on this summer and will view this Betis spell as being ideal for the summer.
Antony is shining in Spain and United will hope that this form continues, putting himself in the shop window for the summer.
United won’t receive anywhere near the fee paid for Antony, but have a better chance of recouping a higher price off the back of this loan spell.
