Rasmus Hojlund is working hard to recover from an injury expected to keep him out for the first games o the season.
During his brief summer break, Rasmus Hojlund made clear he was eager to get back to work wth Manchester United.
Perhaps too eager? Hojlund suffered an injury after just 16 minutes against Arsenal in his first pre-season match. Impressively, he did manage to get on the scoresheet.
It has now emerged Hojlund will miss the first three weeks of the Premier League season, plus the Community Shield.

Rasmus Hojlund working hard
Rasmus Hojlund is, predictably, doing everything he can to recover from his hamstring injury as quickly as possible.
He has shared a picture via Instagram in a cryotherapy chamber, aiming to help his muscles repair and recover.
Hojlund insisted he was not worried about the cold, adding: “Don’t worry. In Scandinavia we call this summer.”
This was not how Rasmus Hojlund hoped to start 2024/25, after a delayed beginning to his first season at the club.
He arrived in late July due to his protracted transfer, before sitting out the first three games as a precaution over a back injury.
It’s a familiar story to begin this season. Perhaps he has more luck at the start of 2025/26?
The games Rasmus Hojlund is expected to miss
Rasmus Hojlund will miss the first three matches of the season, it is estimated. The third is a big match at home to Liverpool. Perhaps there’s a chance that with a swift recovery, he may make the bench.
No Upcoming Fixtures
Hojlund’s injury is, in the big picture, a minor setback. New teammate Leny Yoro will be out for three months with a broken metatarsal.
Both injuries were sustained in a pre-season friendly with Arsenal. While the pre-season tour was seen as a money-spinner, the impact could be more costly.
