Raphael Varane was forced off early with injury during the UEFA Nations League final.
It did not stop him celebrating the team’s victory at the final whistle.
Varane was able to get back onto the pitch for the post-match celebrations which continued inside the dressing room.
He sent a one word message celebrating the victory, which did not make any reference to his injury.
The signs look positive?
Hopefully Varane’s injury just saw him taken off as a precaution.
There were no visible signs of injury when he was pictured post-game, there was no extra strapping on his body nor was he wearing crutches.

Varane could have picked up a muscle strain which would not be visible, but he did not seem to be walking or moving impeded.
Manchester United will assess him when he returns back to England.
France do not have another international fixture during this break, so Varane can head straight back.
He will have a week to try and get fit for United’s Premier League match at Leicester City on Saturday.
