Manchester United wonderkid Amad was thrust straight into Rangers’ starting XI for today’s clash with Ross County.
The Ivorian only made his move to Ibrox earlier this week but Giovani van Bronckhorst put him in from the start and it did not take him long to make an impact.
Amad netted after five minutes to put Rangers 1-0 up but it was a topsy turvy game which ended 3-3 when County equalised deep into stoppage time.
Van Bronckhorst replaced Amad on 66 minutes, and it was not clear whether he had an injury. The Dutchman spoke to Rangers club media after the game and explained the change.

“You could see his quality,” he said when asked about Amad. “He made the first goal, he was very good in the space at the back post.
“You can see what he can give to the team. He’s got the talent but we had to take him off because he didn’t have the rhythm other players have.
“But overall it was a good performance by him but we are disappointed overall with the draw.”
Amad looked bright throughout the time he was on the pitch and it is promising that he appeared to just be tired and not injured – especially with the huge clash with Celtic next up on Wednesday.
As per WhoScored, he had four shots in his time on the pitch, with two on target including his goal. His pass accuracy of 90.5 per cent was the second highest of any Gers starter.
There was also a key pass and a dribble, while he was fouled twice, underlining County’s struggles to contain him at times.
It was a promising debut and it is to be hoped that more of the same is to come, as he builds his match fitness up as well.
