Peter Schmeichel has now singled out an eye-catching quality from Benjamin Sesko in Manchester United’s 3-2 Premier League win at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Matheus Cunha broke the deadlock inside the opening 10 minutes before Benjamin Sesko doubled Manchester United’s lead over Liverpool before the 15-minute mark.
Sesko took his Premier League goalscoring tally to 11 in 30 matches after he bundled the ball over the line following Freddie Woodman’s failed clearance.
Freddie Woodman forced the ball onto the 22-year-old Slovenia striker in his bid to prevent Bruno Fernandes from scoring for Man Utd in the Liverpool match.

Have you been convinced by Sesko like Carrick has?
He's in amazing form, but what else does he need to add?
Peter Schmeichel explains what he noticed from Benjamin Sesko first-hand in the Liverpool match at Old Trafford
Peter Schmeichel linked up with Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt on the latest episode of The Good, The Bad & The Football podcast after Manchester United’s victory.
The 62-year-old United legend revealed that he was in attendance for the Premier League match at Old Trafford and singled out Benjamin Sesko’s performance.
Schmeichel admitted Sesko’s work rate cannot be fully appreciated by watching it on TV and raved about the Man Utd striker’s ability to press and close players down.
“I was at the game,” he said.
“I don’t know if you were at the game, but I was at the game. And then, obviously, you see different things than what the cameras are showing you.
“But the work rate that he [Sesko] puts in and how well he presses and how well he closes down, it’s not really there to be seen on the TV screen.”

Benjamin Sesko’s Man Utd performance against Liverpool was cut short due to an injury
Sesko only saw out the opening 45 minutes after Michael Carrick was forced to bring the Slovenia international off for Amad Diallo for the second half of the match.
Speaking after the 3-2 win, Michael Carrick explained that Sesko was subbed off with an injury after the Man Utd forward’s incident with Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konate.
“He got a bang on his shin when he fell down the side of the pitch,” he told MUTV, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“It’s something that he’s been carrying for a little bit as well, so we’ve had to manage him a bit, but he’s certainly had a bang right on the same spot.
“It’s as simple as that, really.”
Sesko has found the back of the net 12 times and picked up an assist in 32 matches across all competitions in his debut season at Old Trafford.
