Paul Pogba returned to Manchester United at the perfect moment.
Finally recovered from his injury, the Frenchman rejoined a fully fit squad, and a confident one.
Bruno Fernandes has given everybody at the club a lift, and Pogba included. Together the pair have helped United remain unbeaten through the restart.
Speaking to the club website, Pogba said he is enjoying playing with Fernandes and United’s front three.
He said: “From behind I just enjoy it. I’m enjoying just watching Bruno, Rashford, Martial and Mason, who all played the last game, and seeing them score goals. You just keep applauding, it’s beautiful… they make me enjoy football every time!”
Pogba’s happiness has been reflected on the pitch, and in training sessions when he is rarely seen without a smile.

Happy with the club
Pogba praised Manchester United for the way they handled his injury and have continued to look out for him.
It’s a far cry from spurious media reports which previously suggested the opposite.
Pogba said: “I feel great, I feel much, much better now. I’ve been training well and they [the club] have been looking after me very well. I’ve been doing some extra work and treatment on my ankle and the rest of my body.
“And my team-mates as well, they’ve helped me to come back and feel confident. It’s like I never left, the guys still trust in me and always believe in me and that’s helped me a lot as well.”
Pogba and United take on Aston Villa tonight and it was interesting to see the United star praise potential transfer target and possible future teammate Jack Grealish too.
He said: “All the games are difficult here in England and good players can make the difference. We saw that in the last game against Villa, with Jack Grealish, a beautiful goal.”
Pogba has started three of United’s four Premier League games, with United winning each of the games he has been picked to start.
He will be due a rest at some stage, but United cannot afford to ease up right now as we chase Leicester and Chelsea down for a top four place.

New deal?
Pogba’s happiness certainly hints he would be open to a new contract offer.
Fabrizio Romano last night said initial talks have begun with Pogba’s agent.
If United could get Pogba to renew his contract then it would be as big as any transfer move the club could make.
For the first time in a while he seems genuinely happy, free of distractions, and believes fully in the potential of this United team. It’s great to see.
