Another day of World Cup action is in the books and this one had a strong Man Utd representation.

On day three of Man Utd’s World Cup ratings, we have four games to get through – Switzerland vs Qatar, Brazil vs Morocco, Haiti vs Scotland, and Australia vs Turkey.

Needless to say, not every game had Man Utd representation, but there were still many players for Man Utd fans to keep an eye on.

Here are the ratings for all of them, past or present.

Which FORMER Man Utd player are you most intrigued to watch at the World Cup…?

There are more ex-United players at the tournament than current ones! 🌎

Matheus Cunha – 7/10 (D vs Morocco)

Brazil’s start to the World Cup flattered to deceive as they could count themselves lucky to escape with a point against Morocco.

Matheus Cunha didn’t start, but he made the team much better after coming off the bench at the hour-mark.

His running and trickery figure to be a crucial part of Brazil’s fortunes as they go deeper into the tournament, and Ancelotti would do well to select him now. The same can’t be said for his teammate.

Casemiro – 3/10

Casemiro struggled immensely against Morocco’s lively and dynamic midfield, showing his age as he huffed and puffed before coming off at half-time.

Brazil’s midfield immediately looked more combative after his departure, and Ancelotti has a headache to solve now.

He’s a key player for them, but his age means the midfield will always be overrun if he’s not protected enough with players around him.

Noussair Mazraoui – 9/10 (D vs Brazil)

If Casemiro and Cunha bemoan two points lost, Noussair Mazraoui was masterful for the opposition.

Playing at left-back, he locked down his side with a sterling defensive display, marking the likes of Raphinha out of the game with minimum fuss.

He combined that with his usual technical excellence to power Morocco forward in a game they were unlucky to only draw.

He didn’t have the best season for United, but a good World Cup could put him right back in contention.

Scott McTominay – 7/10 (W vs Haiti)

Scott McTominay’s Scotland survived a scare against Haiti to emerge with a 1-0 win, and the former Man Utd star put in a typically spirited performance.

It was an all-action midfield display missing a goal or an assist, but he repeatedly broke lines with his runs and tried to create overloads through the middle.

The Man Utd-connected players who were eligible to make an appearance, but didn’t, include Tyler Fletcher of Scotland, Ederson of Brazil, and Altay Bayindir of Turkey.
