Manchester United have made four exciting signings this summer already.
Among the arrivals has been £38m man Matthijs de Ligt who is arguably the most exciting considering the talent he has should Manchester United manage to unlock it.
Matthijs de Ligt is the most recent player to play for both United and Bayern Munich, while also being another former Ajax player who Erik ten Hag has brought to Old Trafford.
Since his arrival, there have been two cameo outings for De Ligt, although chances are it is only a matter of time until he is starting.
Now, Owen Hargreaves has been discussing the newest centre-half to join United.

Owen Hargreaves loves Matthijs de Ligt
Prior to the game even kicking off, Hargreaves was full of praise for De Ligt, praising the Dutchman for two qualities while on punditry duty for Premier League productions.
“I love Matthijs de Ligt. He has been at Ajax, Juventus and Bayern Munich all by the age of 25.
“He’s not the quickest or most explosive, but he has great character and leadership.
“That centre-back partnership with Lisandro Martinez and then Leny Yoro when he comes back will be really strong.”

Erik ten Hag has a real headache with Manchester United team selection
This season Erik ten Hag has a luxury of options to select his centre-back pairing from, but it is not a problem he will hate having.
Leny Yoro, Lisandro Martinez and De Ligt are all players who would likely start for at least 17 of the other teams in the league, and yet one will miss out for United.
The 18-year-old is at a disadvantage considering he is missing out on the start of the season due to the metatarsal injury Yoro sustained against Arsenal and therefore, Ten Hag is likely to opt for the two former Ajax players he has to choose from.
This problem could leave Ten Hag the envy of most managers in Europe.
