Manchester United have ended the season with a lot of heroes, but the big praise for one is that you don’t think about him anymore.
The final flourish on the season was added with a 3-0 win against the bogey team Brighton, with Bruno Fernandes breaking the Premier League assist record.
Three different goalscorers, with three different assist-getters, ensured that there was plenty of credit to go around after the game.
However, MUTV pundits Wes Brown and Sammy McIlroy chose to focus their attention on someone you don’t think about anymore.

MUTV pundits rave about Senne Lammens
A clean sheet hasn’t come around often for Senne Lammens this season despite him being at the peak of his powers.
Against Brighton, it was a welcome break for the Belgian as, for once, he was the one who looked nervy and needed his teammates to bail him out.
They did so in the early stages before Lammens grew into the game and made some nice late saves to play a part in preserving his clean sheet.
MUTV pundits gave Lammens the ultimate compliment after the game, saying that the best thing you can say about a goalkeeper is that you don’t think about them, and Lammens has reached that level of trust.
McIlroy said: “I think he’s been marvellous. Nothing flashy about him. Everything sticks. He’s been solid as a rock. He’s been a great find, a fantastic player.”
Wes Brown agreed, saying, “When he gets the ball, he doesn’t panic. You don’t think about him, which is good for a ‘keeper.”
Lammens is Ineos’ biggest success story
Ineos have had a lot of success stories in the transfer market, but relative to the fee, expectations, and performance, Lammens stands head and shoulders above everyone else.
Ayden Heaven was cheaper and younger, but he’s not a first-team lock, while the likes of Cunha and Mbeumo were always meant to hit the ground running from day one.
Lammens has surpassed even the wildest expectations set for him, as it beggars belief that a player coming from Belgium can instantly become one of the best in the world after coming to Old Trafford.
As Brown said, Lammens in goal makes you feel safe.
