Mason Greenwood ended a mini goal drought with an impressive goal against Liverpool.
The teenager scored United’s opener in an entertaining 3-2 victory at Old Trafford.

The goal cancelled out Mohamed Salah’s first of the game and allowed United to go in level at half-time.
This was Greenwood’s fourth goal of the season and his first of 2021.
Greenwood celebrated the goal with a wave and he explained this after the game with a message on Instagram, poking back at anybody who had doubted him.
Greenwood’s goal and attitude is great to see because it shows he is confident in his own ability.
The teenager struck an incredible 17 goals last season and that was always going to be tough to follow up without a pre-season and time to rest, and then there was the England debacle.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has kept on picking Greenwood despite his recent indifferent form, and it paid off against Liverpool.
One silly criticism of Greenwood from rival fans has been the claim that he had not yet scored against a ‘big team’. This strike was a perfect response to that, a crucially timed goal in a big knockout game against a rival.
United went on to win 3-2 with a Marcus Rashford goal which Greenwood assisted, before Bruno Fernandes netted the winner from a free-kick.
