Anthony Martial netted his first Sevilla goal last night as the Spanish side beat Dinamo Zagreb 3-1.
Martial’s goal came at the end of the first half to extend Sevilla’s lead, scoring the third goal for his side.

The Europa League first leg was a successful night for Martial in front of his home fans, making the most of playing a central striker role. This was his first goal at any level since October for Manchester United.
The Red Devils loanee sent a message out on social media celebrating his goal, which he hopes will be the first of many.
Reaction to Martial’s goal
Several Manchester United players ‘liked’ Martial’s post on Instagram. These included Eric Bailly, Bruno Fernandes, Alex Telles, and Donny van de Beek, as well as former teammate Antonio Valencia.
Jesse Lingard sent him a response to congratulate him on his goal and show he was happy for him.

Martial played 61 minutes in the win before being substituted and he made a very strong impression, earning a standing ovation from the crowd as he left the pitch
He completed five dribbles, more than any player on the pitch, and had four shots at goal. He also won seven total duels and was given a FotMob rating of 8.2 for his performance.
Martial took his goal really well, finishing a counter attack to sweetly strike the ball into the far corner with his right foot. It was a confident first-time finish and his goal gives Sevilla a strong advantage to take to the second leg in Croatia next week.
He was praised by Spanish outlet Marca, which wrote: “Martial is still far from his best form, but he does not stop moving.”
It was a good night for Martial and a relief no doubt to open his account for his new side. Now let’s see if he can go on a run.
