‘Never believe it is true until they are standing at Old Trafford holding the shirt’, is the saying with regard to Manchester United transfer rumours.
It’s the case with managerial speculation too, and now Ralf Rangnick can tick it off the list.
United have released a series of images of the new interim manager at the Theatre of Dreams.

Rangnick was at Old Trafford to watch United’s victory over Arsenal on Thursday night.
The German also held his press conference on Monday morning in which he set out his plans.

Speaking to the press, Rangnick said he believed United have the squad to fight for titles.
He said: “It’s definitely good enough to compete. “The top three teams are very good with great managers. When Jurgen [Klopp] came to Liverpool, it definitely wasn’t a better squad than what I have at United.”

Rangnick will pick his first team when United face Crystal Palace on Sunday. United are in seventh place and looking to climb the table after a poor run under previous boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
