Manchester United look set to welcome Alex Telles back to the first team squad for this weekend.
The Brazilian was pictured in first team training on Thursday with the rest of his teammates, wearing United’s new training kit.

Telles missed the Middlesbrough game and Burnley matches due to Covid, and has now been passed eligible to return.
Teammate Fred did not participate in training and is still isolating, although that does not rule out the possibility of him testing negative and getting the green light to play this weekend.
Manchester United are in action against Southampton at Old Trafford on Saturday in the early kick-off.
One positive ahead of the game is that United have no fresh injury concerns. Key stars were all pictured in training, the likes of Raphael Varane, Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes.

United are in for a tough game this weekend, nobody is expecting another 9-0 thrashing of Southampton.
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side have a point to prove, and are full of confidence after winning 3-2 away at Tottenham in midweek.
While that particular result did United a favour, Ralf Rangnick’s side will have to lift their game and be more clinical in front of goal in order than in recent matches, and perhaps have a little luck with VAR too.
