Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is in Germany where he will complete his loan return to Borussia Dortmund.
Jadon Sancho has been pictured in Germany after flying to the country last night. He was seen in a video posted by Sky Sports Germany.
Sancho yesterday ‘liked’ Fabrizio Romano’s tweet with a ‘here we go’ announcing his return to Dortmund was sealed.
It was his first time back on social media since blasting Erik ten Hag and refusing to apologise. Manchester United will be paying him part of his salary during his loan.
United In Focus were told this week there is even a possibility the loan could end up being extended until June 2025. At present it is a loan simply until June 2024.

Jadon Sancho failed at Manchester United
Blaming Erik ten Hag is the easy way out. Jadon Sancho failed at Manchester United, there is no other way to spin it.
Sancho failed to perform on the pitch, and he failed off the pitch too. On the pitch he was a shadow of the player who starred at Dortmund. Some players are just not cut out for the Premier League, and Sancho fitted into this category. Opponents were too quick, too strong, and he appeared to lack heart on the pitch at times.
Erik ten Hag, Sancho’s third manager at the club, had indulged Sancho by giving him several months off last season. He had tried changing his position. But ultimately he was just not convinced that the winger was a starting level player.
Sancho has spent the past three months on the sidelines, choosing to do so. Despite warning he was killing his career, Sancho chose not to play for United, refusing to apologise to his manager for his social media outburst at the start of September.
Perhaps he will rekindle his career in Dortmund. Perhaps Erik ten Hag won’t last as United manager. But even if this is the case, Manchester United supporters may still not welcome him back, after the way he left this club in the lurch this season. His teammates may have reservations too.
Manchester United fans react
With Sancho spotted in Germany to seal his return to Dortmund, Manchester United supporters have had a lot to say on social media.
One fan wrote: “He is an absolute selfish player. Never come back to this football club again. Sell him in the summer.”
Another added: “Jadon Sancho had the chance to cement himself in our team for a decade and instead decided he couldn’t be bothered to put the effort in.”
A third agreed, writing: “Jadon Sancho brought this upon himself. No need to cry for a player who disrespected the entire club.”
Another fan noted: “Too slow for the Premier League and couldn’t get past defenders.”
One fan said: “Sancho has a small mentality and low dedication and will never be able to unlock his full potential because of it.”
And another simply wrote: “Sancho must never play for Manchester United again.”
There were a few discerning views, with one fan writing: “This guy has to come back because this team is starved of technically gifted players.”
Another posed: “You will see he will now be on fire for the rest of the season to prove everyone wrong about him. By the beginning of next season, Sancho could be back at United and Ten Hag could have been sacked.”
We think Sancho is done, and there’s no coming back from this, regardless of who the manager is. But never say never.
