It has been explained how much Manchester United will pay Jadon Sancho during his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund.
Jadon Sancho’s move to Borussia Dortmund on loan for the remainder of the season is on the verge of being completed, The Athletic report.
It has been a torrid time in Manchester for the English winger who has failed to live up to the £73 million price tag that Manchester United, under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, agreed to pay.
Sancho has been banished to the academy building after a fall-out with Erik ten Hag and the 23-year-old is now set to return to the side that really kickstarted his footballing career.

How much United are paying explained
According to a report from the Daily Mail, United will still pay Sancho £100,000 a week during his six-month loan spell in the Bundesliga, which is a rather disastrous deal for the Red Devils.
The wages is reportedly holding that deal up with Sancho’s £290,000-a-week salary which is well above Dortmund’s pay ceiling. The Bundesliga club are insisting that United contribute a third of the cost, according to the report.
There are additional payments built into the deal based on the 23-year-old’s appearances and the German’s qualifying for the Champions League. It’s understood there will be no obligation to buy the player at the end of the season.
Despite the wages United will have to pay for the Englishman, this has to be viewed as a good deal for the Red Devils due to the situation that Sancho was in.
For the past nearly five months, Sancho has been ostracised from the first team at Old Trafford, so getting any money for the former Dortmund forward is a positive.
United’s chance
If the Englishman regains the good form that he showed in the Bundesliga before his move to Old Trafford, United may well be able to make a healthy sum of money back on the deal.
With there being no obligation to buy for Dortmund, United can sit back and hope the Englishman performs for the German giants.
Getting him off the books was the most important part of the January window with the hope that the dark cloud around the club would be lifted with his removal from the team.
