Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that he is “impressed” by one team in the world and how they have integrated one player into their setup.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been out of management since his exit from Old Trafford, with the Manchester United legend sacked in 2021 after a poor run of results.
Despite his last role in management, the 50-year-old Norwegian has admitted that a return to the dugout could happen if the right opportunity presents itself.
Solskjaer has since taken on a role at UEFA as a technical observer and has also done coaching with youth players in his native homeland of Norway.
The former United manager has previously admitted that he has received offers to return to management, including opportunities to coach in Saudi Arabia.
Solskjaer, who recently emerged as a surprise candidate for Bayern Munich, has now opened up on one elite football team that has caught his eye.

Solskjaer ‘impressed’ by Real Madrid
Speaking to The National, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted that he has been “impressed” with Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid side this season.
Madrid are currently top of the La Liga table and are the favourites to capture the top-flight Spanish league title this season.
Los Blancos have benefited from the arrival of England midfielder Jude Bellingham, who was signed from Borussia Dortmund last summer for an initial fee of £88.5m.
Bellingham wasted no time in making his presence felt in the Spanish capital and has been a key first-team player for Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti this season.
The 20-year-old ex-Dortmund star has scored an impressive 16 times in 21 La Liga appearances and four times in five Champions League matches.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a big fan of Bellingham and was keen to bring the Madrid star to Old Trafford when he was Manchester United manager.
“Real Madrid are the team who’ve impressed me most this year,” he said.
“I’ve been impressed how they’ve worked Jude Bellingham into that position with the two wide forwards.”
Solskjaer aims dig at Man Utd rivals
Solskjaer also shared his two cents on Manchester City and the United legend didn’t hold back with firing a not-so-subtle dig at the Red Devils’ crosstown rival.
The former United boss said that City are “interesting to watch,” but added that Pep Guardiola’s men are not his “cup of tea” due to how they play on the pitch.
Solskjaer worked closely with Erling Haaland at Norwegian side Molde and wanted to bring the Manchester City striker to Old Trafford during his time as manager.
The ex-United star said that City will score more when Haaland is on the pitch, but he added that Guardiola’s side will “lose the ball more often” when the striker plays.
“[Manchester] City are always interesting to watch,” Solskjaer said.
“It’s not my cup of tea in terms of how many penetrating passes they turn down when they go forward, but they win.
“And Erling [Haaland] will score more often if they play him, but they might lose the ball more often.”
