Man Utd fans have a lot to say about Amad Diallo after Real Betis win, they’ve already made two major predictions

Manchester United fans waxed lyrical about Amad Diallo’s stunning performance against La Liga club Real Betis in the 3-2 pre-season friendly win on Thursday.

Iker Losada stunned Manchester United in the 15th minute after he fired Real Betis into the lead at the Snapdragon Stadium in California.

However, Erik ten Hag’s men wasted no time in responding after Marcus Rashford pulled United level from the spot-kick only three minutes after Iker Losada’s opener.

Amad Diallo then made his presence felt by putting United into the lead only six minutes after Marcus Rashford’s equaliser against Betis.

Rashford then set up United midfielder Casemiro for the Red Devils’ third, with Erik ten Hag’s side heading into half-time with a 3-1 lead in the pre-season match.

Diego Llorente pulled one back for Manuel Pellegrini’s Betis side in the second half, but United held on and secured the win in San Diego.

Amad Diallo shines for Man Utd vs Real Betis

Amad Diallo has been widely hailed for his form during Manchester United’s pre-season tour this summer.

The 22-year-old Ivorian winger missed the opening pre-season defeat to Rosenborg last month before playing a starring role in the 2-0 win over Rangers.

Diallo, who had a loan spell at Rangers, started the match against the Scottish side and opened the scoring in the first half at the Murrayfield Stadium in Scotland.

The United star kept his place in the starting XI for the 2-1 defeat to Arsenal last month at the SoFi Stadium in California.

Erik ten Hag started Diallo again for the Real Betis encounter and the Ivory Coast international was lively throughout his performance against the Spanish side.

Diallo impressed with his attacking contribution and added a real threat to United’s attack after the Red Devils conceded early against Betis.

The United winger made way for Antony in the second half, but Red Devils fans were quick to make their feelings clear about Diallo’s display.

Man Utd fans react to Diallo vs Real Betis

United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, made one early prediction that Diallo will thrive for the club in the 2024-25 Premier League season.

Other Red Devils supporters boldly tipped Diallo to reach huge heights in his career, with one claiming that he could be a “potential Ballon d’Or winner” in the future.

“Amad Diallo’s shaping up to have a wonderful season,” one fan said.

A second X user added: “Amad Diallo, with the right development and coaching, is a potential Ballon d’Or winner.”

“Amad Diallo can only [lose] the LW place now if he’s injured. He’s been f****n’ amazing this pre-season,” another posted.

While a fourth tweeted: “Amad Diallo patiently waited at Manchester United for [three-plus] years. Now that he has his opportunity, he is wasting no time showing why he is first-team worthy this upcoming season. I’m so excited to watch him in the Premier League this year.”

Someone else commented: “Amad Diallo’s footballing IQ is head [and] shoulders above the rest.”

And a sixth wrote: “Amad Diallo is running the show. Massive season ahead for him.”

Another said: “Amad Diallo has always been a talented player. He looks very sharp and is ready to win. This will definitely be his season; he will surely explode. He is a little magician.”

Somebody else added: “The season ahead for Amad looks very bright.”
