The Red Devils are eager to use that advantage as much as possible, with the club confirming on Tuesday that a unique stadium display has been prepared before kick-off.
United confirmed that a ‘tifo’ banner will be unveiled in front of the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand before kick-off to help generate a fiery atmosphere.
It will break a club record as the first-ever tifo banner to be displayed at the stadium.
Fans have been encouraged to arrive early to the stadium to prepare the display before United kick-off against Lyon.

United have remained tight-lipped about what the tifo display will be, but they have confirmed that it was a collaborative effort.
The club worked with fan representatives to finalise the design, and it was given the seal of approval by club captain Bruno Fernandes.
