Manchester United fans are convinced that Rasmus Hojlund is “cooking” after the Denmark striker scored against San Marino in his country’s Euro 2024 qualifying match on Tuesday.
Hojlund has settled in well at Old Trafford and has been praised for his impact at United after his sensational £72m move from Serie A side Atalanta.
The 20-year-old United forward scored against Bayern Munich in a 4-3 away defeat and also bagged a stunning brace in his side’s 3-2 home defeat to Galatasaray.
Hojlund has made eight appearances for United across all competitions this season and has scored three times for the Premier League club.
The Red Devils star’s debut for United was initially delayed due to a back injury he picked up in pre-season, but Hojlund has already shown early flashes of brilliance.
Hojlund has not found the back of the net in his five Premier League appearances for United, but fans believe that will change soon due to his current run of form.

A lot more to come from Hojlund
United manager Erik ten Hag will be thrilled with how Hojlund has performed this season, with the Red Devils finally adding a clinical striker to their arsenal.
Rashford, who has faced heavy criticism this season at United, also made his impact on international duty after he scored in England’s 3-1 victory over Italy on Tuesday.
United captain Fernandes has been in red-hot form for his country and has played an integral part of Portugal’s Euro 2024 qualifying campaign so far.
Ten Hag will take solace in knowing some of his United players are returning from the international break with a serious uplift in confidence.
