We are just a week-and-a-half removed from Manchester United’s away win against LASK. It feels like a month already.
That was the final fixture until football was shut down and it was good for United to sign off on a high.
United demolished LASK in a 5-0 away win which made the Austrians look like a League One side.
Playing the match behind closed doors disadvantaged LASK, but they played poorly.
So it was with interest that LASK defender and club captain Gernot Trauman featured in Whoscored.com‘s Europa League Team of the Season published last week.

Trauman was given the runaround by United and in particular striker Odion Ighalo, who scored one sensational goal and nearly had another, hitting the post.
Dan James ran right at Trauman and skipped past him on the way to firing in United’s second goal of the game.
Every player can have an off day, and Trauman and the whole LASK team certainly had one against United.
What Trauman’s recent accolade does show, is that it makes United’s recent demolition of his side look even better, by making a polished and consistent performer look second rate.
United players feature heavily
Three Manchester United players were named in the XI. Harry Maguire was picked in central defence, with Fred in midfield, who has scored two goals and provided two assists in his last two games in the competition.
Bruno Fernandes also made it in, in part due to his group stage performances for Sporting where he netted five goals.
One player unlucky to miss out was Sergio Romero. The Argentine has conceded only one goal in his Europa League performances all season.
Admittedly that was an error, away against Club Brugge, but he was harshly left out in our view in favour of CFR Cluj goalkeeper Giedrius Arlauskis.
