Former Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim is on the verge of being confirmed as the new manager of AC Milan.

Just over five months after Ruben Amorim was sacked by Manchester United, the Portuguese head coach is set to make his return to football.

Despite Portuguese media claiming Amorim wanted to take a break from management, it seems the chance to take charge of AC Milan was too good to turn down.

Ruben Amorim has reportedly agreed to a contract with AC Milan until 2028 with an option to extend to 2029.
