November represented the last of three international breaks for Manchester United with attention now fully turning to Ruben Amorim’s first game in charge.
Ruben Amorim takes on Kieran McKenna’s Ipswich Town in his first game as Manchester United head coach.
During the November international break, Amorim has had to watch on as some of his star players were called up to international duty away from Old Trafford.
Here is a rundown of how every United player performed on international duty.
Andre Onana (Cameroon)

Cameroon picked up a draw and a win with Andre Onana playing the full 90 minutes on both occasions. It was a goalless draw against Namibia whilst Cameroon inflicted a 2-1 defeat on Zimbabwe.
Onana’s performance against Zimbabwe was good, and you suspect the former Inter Milan goalkeeper will have a big part to play for Amorim.
Lisandro Martinez & Alejandro Garnacho (Argentina)

Lisandro Martinez suffered an injury problem with Argentina and returned to the Red Devils which represents a big blow for Amorim if he is out for an extended period of time.
As for Alejandro Garnacho, it was a tough few weeks for the United academy graduate with Lionel Scaloni snubbing Garnacho for the game against Peru.
Christian Eriksen & Rasmus Hojlund (Denmark)

Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund was one of United’s losers during the international break, and his manager defended him after his poor performance against Spain.
Hojlund is experiencing a goal drought for his country, but perhaps with Amorim coming in, who developed Viktor Gyokeres, this could be a good time for Him.
As for Christian Eriksen, the midfielder started both games and looked promising for Denmark and he could have a key part to play under Amorim.
Diogo Dalot & Bruno Fernandes (Portugal)

Bruno Fernandes only played one game for Portugal but he shone as the midfielder scored against Poland during a comfortable victory.
Fernandes travelled to Carrington early after being booked in that victory which meant he missed Portugal’s second game during the international break.
Diogo Dalot was also called up for Portugal and played both games for Portugal, including that 5-1 win over Poland. He only played 10 minutes against Croatia which means he should be raring to go for Amorim.
Joshua Zirkzee & Matthijs De Ligt (Netherlands)

Matthijs De Ligt was excellent in a back three for Holland during the international break and he emerged as one of the winners from this international break. After a slow start, De Ligt looks to be settling in nicely.
As for Joshua Zirkzee, he was left out of Holland’s opening game but featured as a number 10 against Bosnia & Herzegovina. The Dutch media were not impressed with Zirkzee and his troubling season continues.
Altay Bayindir (Turkey)

Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir has only featured in the Carabao Cup for the Red Devils this season but was called up for international duty.
Despite being called up, Bayindir did not play a minute for Turkey in either international match with Besiktas goalkeeper Mert Gunok playing ahead of him.
Victor Lindelof (Sweden)

It was a disastrous international break for Victor Lindelof as the Swedish defender limped off against Slovakia holding his hamstring and could now be out of action for a few weeks.
James Scanlon (Gibraltar)

James Scanlon was among the Nations League’s top performers for Gibraltar and the exciting United teenager is only getting better.
Manuel Ugarte (Uruguay)

Manuel Ugarte scored a last-minute winner for Uruguay against Colombia in a 3-2 victory for the South American side.
The Uruguayan media labelled Ugarte as a “lion” and he could be vital for Amorim moving forward, with the pair having worked together at Sporting Lisbon.
Amad Diallo (Ivory Coast)

Amad did not feature for Ivory Coast during the international break but the Ivorian winger has reportedly impressed Ruben Amorim and he could be set to feature against Ipswich Town.
Noussair Mazraoui (Morocco)

Moroccan full-back Noussair Mazraoui may be United’s most successful summer signing and he continues to impress even away from Old Trafford.
Mazraoui played at right-back and left-back as Morocco won 5-1 vs Gabon and 7-0 vs Lesotho. He was given a 7.2 rating by Sofascore following that seven-goal victory over Lesotho.
