Manchester United hopes of a double deal for Dutch duo Joshua Zirkzee and Matthijs de Ligt are currently on hold.
Once the Netherlands are out of Euro 2024, moves for Zirkzee and De Ligt will accelerate. They face England tonight.
Manchester United duo Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo could be in action for England in the semi-final.
Another Three Lions player, Harry Kane, has been speaking out ahead of the game, and discussed Manchester United target Matthijs de Ligt.

Harry Kane praises Matthijs de Ligt
Matthijs de Ligt has not been a starter for the Netherlands during Euro 2024 so far. Former Juventus teammate Giorgio Chiellini questioned De Ligt’s lack of game time.
Harry Kane is his current teammate at Bayern Munich, although perhaps not for long.
Ahead of the England v Netherlands game, Kane spoke at a press conference, and discussed De Ligt.
Kane said: “Matthijs has been a teammate of mine now for the last year. Fantastic player, fantastic guy, obviously.
“I am not sure if he is going to start tomorrow or not. But, if he does, we have had a lot of battles in training, so tomorrow will be no different.”
De Ligt has point to prove
Matthijs de Ligt is keen on a move to Manchester United, Fabrizio Romano reported earlier this week.
He will arrive at Manchester United with a point to prove, having been used irregularly at Bayern Munich last season, left on the bench 10 times in the Bundesliga.
Having not yet played a minute at the Euros, De Ligt will be desperate to prove himself and shine if given a chance at Manchester United.
He is one of three centre-backs in the mix to potentially join Manchester United along with Jarrad Branthwaite and Leny Yoro.
