Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has now reacted to what he saw from Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford during his side’s thumping win over FC Seoul.

The La Liga champions picked up their second consecutive victory of their pre-season tour, following Barcelona’s 3-1 win over Vissel Kobe in Japan last Sunday.

Barcelona travelled to South Korea and the Spanish side crossed paths with FC Seoul at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Thursday, with Hansi Flick’s men winning 7-3.

Both Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres scored stunning braces and Robert Lewandowski, Gavi and Andreas Christensen all netted for Barcelona in the match.

Marcus Rashford made his Barcelona debut against Vissel Kobe after the Red Devils talent came off the bench at the Noevir Stadium Kobe in the second half of the tie.

The 27-year-old Manchester United loanee had to settle for a place on the bench against FC Seoul before he was subbed on for the second half of the match.

Hansi Flick’s reaction to Marcus Rashford’s performance vs FC Seoul speaks volumes about Barcelona’s new signing

Marcus Rashford’s cameo for Barcelona against Vissel Kobe was brief in the second half of last Sunday’s 3-1 win before Hansi Flick pulled him off in the 78th minute.

But the England international was afforded more important first-team minutes on Thursday afternoon, with Rashford playing against FC Seoul for the full second half.

Manchester United fans reacted to Rashford’s performance for Barcelona and the former Aston Villa star was a lively presence in the attacking threat in the 7-3 win.

Speaking after Barcelona’s friendly in South Korea, Barcelona boss Flick felt that Rashford did what every other player did by putting in a solid shift against FC Seoul.

“Each player had 45 minutes,” he said, as per the Metro.

“In the end, I’m happy. We had a good start in the first half and then we were a little sluggish, but we returned to a great level.

“In the second half, too, with Gavi, Ferran, Marcus… also Gerard Martin in a position that isn’t his usual one.”

Man Utd and England player Marcus Rashford made his impact for Barcelona in the 7-3 win vs FC Seoul

Rashford’s second-half display for Barcelona allowed the United player to have an impact for Flick’s men, with the summer signing registering an assist in the match.

Ferran Torres completed his brace in the 88th minute to put Barcelona 7-3 up at the Seoul World Cup Stadium and Rashford set up the 25-year-old Spain international.

Rashford left Old Trafford this summer after his return from his loan spell at Villa Park, with the former Villa attacker frozen out of the United first-team squad.

The Three Lions international had been keen to complete a ‘dream’ move to Barcelona this summer and the Spanish club signed the United attacker on loan.
