Manchester United have announced Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been sacked.
Former Red Devils star Gary Neville has paid tribute to the Norwegian.
Neville is a former teammate of Solskjaer and has resisted calls to pile on his pal while the pressure built.

The pundit was quick to react to the news and thanked Solskjaer for his time at the club.
Neville says Solskjaer did the club proud, despite the difficult end to his run.
Neville came under considerable flak on social media for continually sticking up for Solskjaer.
But he will be able to admit that results have been terrible and the sacking was justified.
United’s 4-1 defeat to Watford leaves the team with five losses from the last seven Premier League games.
It was an unacceptable run and leaving Solskjaer in charge would only have prolonged the pain. It is time to move on.
