Facundo Pellistri sends message as Man Utd exit is confirmed, Manuel Ugarte responds

Facundo Pellistri has taken to Instagram as his exit from Manchester United is confirmed.

This summer has seen Ineos be ruthless in terms of outgoings with several players already being sold on as the clearout begins.

Facundo Pellistri has been the latest player to face the chopping block as United sold him to Panathinaikos with a 45 per cent sell-on clause included.

The deal has been welcomed by the Greek side’s manager who hailed Pellistri’s arrival as being a ‘great transfer’.

It is a shame to see Pellistri departing as he arrived with high hopes, but ultimately Manchester United made their own bed with his poor loans and lack of game time. Now, he’s taken to Instagram after his exit was confirmed.

Manuel Ugarte sends Facundo Pellistri a message

After his move to Panathinaikos was confirmed, Pellistri took to his Instagram with a graphic of himself and the United badge, along with Old Trafford being the back-drop.

He captioned this simply writing: “@manchesterunited”, followed by a heart emoji.

Underneath this message, Pellistri got a reply from his Uruguay teammate and United target Manuel Ugarte.

The midfielder who seems likely to join the ranks wrote a heart emoji to his Uruguayan compatriot.

Ugarte will likely to saddened that Pellistri has left, considering the pair might have linked up at Carrington.

Manuel Ugarte could soon arrive at Manchester United

With one Uruguayan out the door, another could soon be replacing him at Old Trafford with Ugarte closing in on a move to United.

According to the most recent reports in France, a deal could be expected in the coming days taking Ugarte from PSG to United.

All parties are keen to see the deal done, and so all signs are indicating that it will be done before the deadline a week on Friday.

Ugarte will know the reaction United fans will have to him responding to Pellistri and so we imagine he will be reading the replies to his comment with interest as they welcome him to the club in expectation of his arrival.

Hopefully, the next time we check Ugarte’s Instagram it will be to see Pellistri’s response the him joining United.
