Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are working to get a deal done for midfielder Manuel Ugarte.
Manuel Ugarte is expected to join Manchester United before the transfer deadline, the remaining questions are simply, how, and when?
Negotiations are ongoing between clubs, with super agent Jorge Mendes trying to facilitate a deal.
A loan with an obligation to buy has even been discussed as a way to get a deal over the line, to get Ugarte the deal he desperately wants.

Manchester United and PSG want permanent deal
Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain continue to engage in talks over a move, and a loan deal is not the priority.
According to Sky Sports, both clubs share the same preference, to conclude a permanent transfer.
Dharmesh Sheth writes: “Talks advancing between Manchester United & PSG over Manuel Ugarte. Cautious optimism move can happen before deadline. Permanent deal is preference for both United & PSG – but loan with obligation also mooted.”
Permanent deal is best option
While a loan with an obligation is designed to present some certainty, there will always be get-out clauses for all parties involved, some linked to games played.
It is just best for all parties involved to have a clean break, and some certainty, which comes with a permanent transfer.
In particular, Manuel Ugarte will have clarity mentally, which will help behind the scenes, in terms of buying a permanent home and setting up base in England.
Having security off the pitch will only lead to better performances on the pitch to win over the fans at Old Trafford.
We are now into the final 10 days of the transfer window, and this is not a deal United will want to drag out towards the deadline.
United play Liverpool on Sunday September 1, two days after the window closes, and if a deal can be completed in plenty of time, the Uruguayan could be available for that huge fixture.
