Wes Brown has admitted that he has been blown away by one emerging Manchester United talent at Old Trafford after labelling him a “breath of fresh air.”
Manchester United are now looking ahead to Sunday afternoon for their first Premier League match of February, with the Red Devils hosting Fulham at Old Trafford.
Do you believe Manchester United can overhaul Arsenal and win the title?!
The Red Devils have now climbed into the Premier League top four after a sensational run of form under Man Utd interim head coach Michael Carrick.
Michael Carrick returned to Old Trafford earlier this month after Ruben Amorim was sacked as United manager and provided a much-needed boost in momentum.
The 44-year-old interim boss engineered Man Utd’s stunning 2-0 win over Manchester City before the Red Devils defeated Arsenal 3-2 at the weekend.

Wes Brown’s praise is shifted to Man Utd teenager Ayden Heaven after his emergence at Old Trafford
Ayden Heaven left the Arsenal academy set-up in 2024 and signed for Manchester United last February, with the teenager already catching Wes Brown’s eye.
The 19-year-old has featured sporadically in the United first team and Ayden Heaven has impressed with his performances at times after his debut under Ruben Amorim.
Heaven secured regular minutes in the tail end of Amorim’s Man Utd reign in 2025 and 2026 after injuries to key defenders Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt.

Do you agree? It was a bizarre choice to take him off…
Speaking on the Inside Carrington podcast, Brown talked up what he has seen from former Gunners talent Heaven since his 2025 arrival at the Premier League club.
“When Ayden’s been in, he’s been excellent,” he said.
“And you’re still sort of waiting for him to do some sort of fault that you can see.
“You think, ‘Ok, learn.’ And he will always learn. And, you know, he’ll be learning every game and every training session.”
What Wes Brown expects for Man Utd defender Ayden Heaven after Michael Carrick’s return to Old Trafford
Ayden Heaven has only played a single minute under Michael Carrick so far, which came in Man Utd’s sensational performance against Manchester City at Old Trafford.
Harry Maguire has returned to the United starting XI under Carrick after recovering from his injury and partnered with Lisandro Martinez for the last two matches.
Should Harry Maguire get a contract extension beyond the 2025/26 season?
Brown believes that Heaven will only further his development at Old Trafford by spending time around experienced players like former Man Utd captain Maguire.
“Because it’s very difficult to play at Manchester United, you know, to not make many mistakes and to stay focused at such a young age,” he added.
“And yes, he’s not been in the last couple of games. And I think it’s perfect what Michael’s done.
“He’s put the more experienced players in. But Heaven will learn so much from Harry.”
Heaven was an unused substitute against former side Arsenal in Man Utd’s 3-2 Premier League win at the Emirates on Sunday evening.
