Manchester United went through big changes over the summer as Ineos truly put their stamp on the club in their first transfer window.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe started his Manchester United revolution by bringing some big names to Old Trafford.
Dan Ashworth, Jason Wilcox and Omar Berrada started work at United whilst Christopher Vivell is staying after an initial short-term deal.
Those arrivals meant some departures had to come too and Patrick Stewart left the club as part of the Ineos revolution.
Stewart was made United’s interim CEO following Richard Arnold’s exit, stepping up after serving as executive director of Manchester United plc.

Ineos moved on without Stewart in May as Jean-Claude Blanc became interim CEO, with Berrada only starting in July.
Stewart departed Old Trafford and is now poised to make a return to football.
Rangers Review report that Stewart is set to become the new CEO of Scottish giants Rangers.
The Gers are bringing in a new chairman in Malcolm Offord and Stewart will be the first big hire of his reign.
Rangers haven’t even had a CEO since the summer and Stewart will now run the club on a day-to-day basis.
Stewart arrives in a period of relative turmoil though as Rangers boss Philippe Clement is under huge pressure.
Rangers are already 11 points adrift of Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with fans turning on Clement.
Stewart will be no stronger to that kind of situation given the pressure Erik ten Hag was under at United, but he may soon play a big role in a managerial decision.
How the Glazers reacted to Stewart exit
Stewart’s exit back in April prompted statements from both Joel Glazer and Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
As posted on United’s official website, Glazer thanked Stewart for ‘dedicated service’ to United.
Glazer added that Stewart had given ‘invaluable advice and expertise’ duaring his time at United, serving an ‘important role’ as interim CEO last season.
“I would like to thank Patrick and Cliff for their dedicated service to Manchester United and wish them well for the future. Both have been a source of invaluable advice and expertise over many years, and Patrick has served an important role as interim CEO during this transitional phase,” said Glazer.
Ratcliffe added that Stewart had helped Ineos ‘feel welcome’ as they arrived at United.
“I would like to personally thank both Patrick and Cliff for their support in helping us get to know the club and making us feel welcome and I respect their decisions to now move on as we establish a new management team for the club,” said Ratcliffe.
Stewart will now head to Ibrox and will be given a fairly swift return to United.
Rangers head to Old Trafford for a Europa League clash in January and Stewart will likely be welcomed back with open arms.
