Manchester United finally managed to get Jadon Sancho off the books during the summer with Chelsea taking him.
The signing of Jadon Sancho had promised so much for Manchester United, a deal two years in the making. But three years after he was signed, the club could not be happier to see him leave.
The £73m deal to sign Sancho is arguably United’s worst signing of all time. By the time he departed on deadline day, the relationship between club and player seemed unrepairable, with Sancho’s farewell message reflecting that.
Chelsea fans are excited by Sancho, comparing him with Ronaldinho which will leave them in for a real surprise.
Now, he is in line for a potential Chelsea debut this weekend and his new manager has explained how he is faring.

Enzo Maresca claims Jadon Sancho has been perfect
During his pre-match press conference, Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca was asked about the most recent addition to his squad.
Upon being asked about Sancho and whether he would be worried about the toxicity the former United No.25 could bring, Maresca had a clear response.
“I don’t consider Jadon Sancho a risk off the pitch. Whatever’s happened with Erik ten Hag… I have no idea”.
After disregarding the view that Sancho could be toxic, Maresca then made a claim about how the Englishman started life in blue.
“I can only judge the player on the weeks he’s been with us. He’s been perfect.”
To claim Sancho has been perfect will surprise United considering the annoyance he proved to be time after time.
However, United and in particular Ten Hag will be expecting this to change in the near future knowing what is known about him after his time at Old Trafford.
Manchester United will have no regrets
Hindsight is everything in a situation like this, if Sancho goes on to score and assist a bunch of times for Chelsea, it would be easy for United to regret their decision to let him go for a cut-price deal.
However, in the situation of Sancho, regrets are something we cannot imagine United and Ineos having.
Even if Sancho goes on to shine, the fact is he was not going to do that at Old Trafford – we had already seen him try to for three seasons.
So despite what Maresca says, he is not going to convince anyone at United or the fanbase that we would be better off keeping Sancho.
Letting him go was the right call and in time we are confident that this will become clear, regardless of what Chelsea thinks of him immediately.
