Cristiano Ronaldo has conducted his first interview since his return to Manchester United was confirmed.
Ronaldo spoke to the club website about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Sir Alex Ferguson, among other things.
He was also asked if he had a message for the United fans, who are so excited about his return.

“Well, the fans is the key of football. Now, with all the stadiums full of supporters, it’s not the same that we had one year ago, those empty stadiums. The fans, they are the key, and I’m so glad,” he replied.
“The Manchester United fans, they are special, I know, I remember very well.
“I know they still sing my music which has made me feel even more happy and my commitment is to give everything on the pitch, like I did before, like I do it all the time.
“And try to do my best, help the team score goals, make assists, win games, and I hope to see them very, very soon.”

Ronaldo will have Old Trafford rocking
United’s next match, at home to Newcastle on September 11, will be the hottest ticket in town.
The atmosphere will be electric and fans will be clambering to welcome Ronaldo back.
He’ll feel the love from the stadium and hopefully he’s able to play a part straight away.
A Ronaldo goal on his return would send Old Trafford wild on what is sure to be a special afternoon.
