Confirmed Manchester United transfer deals for January 2022, ins, outs, loan moves
The transfer window has now closed for January 2022.
United had squad issues to address with a number of players dissatisfied with their playing time.
So in interim manager Ralf Rangnick’s first and possibly only transfer window as Red Devils boss, this month was more about departures than arrivals.

Loan moves
The loan market is where Manchester United have been most active.
Recalls:
Reece Devine was recalled from his loan at St Johnstone.
Will Fish has returned from his loan deal at non-league Stockport County, United have confirmed.
D’Mani Mellor has also been recalled from his loan at Salford City.
Loans out:
1 ) Teden Mengi has signed a loan deal with Birmingham City until the end of the season.
2) Ethan Laird’s loan at Swansea was terminated and he has been loaned out to Championship promotion hopefuls Bournemouth. This move was confirmed by Bournemouth’s official website.
3) Axel Tuanzebe’s loan at Aston Villa has ended and he has signed with Napoli until the end of the season. This has now been confirmed.
4) Anthony Martial has been sent out on loan to Sevilla for the rest of the season.
5) Amad has been loaned out to Rangers for the remainder of the season.
6) After his spell at St Johnstone was cut short, Reece Devine has signed on loan with Walsall, the club’s website confirmed.
7) Donny van de Beek has moved on loan to Everton for the rest of the season, the club announced on deadline day.
8) Matej Kovar has joined Burton Albion on loan. The deal was announced just in time to beat the deadline.
Academy
United have signed young forward Majid Balogun from Lambeth Tigers, the player confirmed.
Two players will join United for a trial. Polish talent Karol Borys, and Swedish prospect Lucas Bergvall.
