Manchester United have posted the first photos of Bruno Fernandes back at Carrington.
The Portuguese playmaker tweeted earlier that he would be back in training today.
The United squad has returned from their training camp in Surrey and are back in Manchester now.
Fernandes is back out on the training pitch ahead of the new season.
Hopefully Bruno is refreshed
It was promising that Bruno mentioned having his batteries fully recharged after a period of rest.
He played almost every game last season in the most frantic campaign in modern times.
Then he went straight to Euro 2020, where he was unable to help Portugal retain their crown.
He needed a rest and now he’s had one, hopefully he’ll return freshened up having looked leggy at times at the end of last season.
United’s next pre-season game is against Brentford at Old Trafford tomorrow night.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told the club website that game will come a little too soon for Fernandes but the game after is at Preston on Saturday afternoon and he could well be involved there.
The away matches against Derby and Queens Park Rangers have seen Ole Gunnar Solskjaer field young, inexperienced sides.
But Bruno will add some experience and star quality, as he kickstarts his hard work ahead of the new campaign.
