Bruno Fernandes says he is happy to see Anthony Martial back on the scoresheet.
Martial scored his first goal of the season in Manchester United’s draw with Everton.
Fernandes provided the assist and he told the club website he believes his teammate can make a big contribution to the team.
Fernandes said: “It’s nice having Anto scoring goals again. We are happy for him. Two seasons ago, he was the best scorer in the team.
“It’s difficult for him not to play as many games as he wants but he shows he’s ready when he comes on. He showed once again he can play an important part for us in the future.”

Fernandes was referring to the 2019/20 season in which he joined, and Martial led the line with a total of 23 goals.
Martial only scored seven last season, and has since seen Cristiano Ronaldo come in as first choice, in addition to Edinson Cavani.
This led to Martial starting on the left wing against Everton, as he has done intermittently during his Old Trafford career so far.
The decision paid off with Martial scoring the opening goal of the game. But he was substituted on 59 minutes.
Solskjaer explains substitution
“Unfortunately he got a knock and had to come off,” Solskjaer told the club’s official website.
The injury may put Martial’s participation in the upcoming France internationals in doubt.
That may not be a bad thing where United are concerned if it is only a minor issue.
United have a crucial run of fixtures after the international break and keeping a fit squad is key.
A rejuvenated Anthony Martial could have a big impact and this game gave a glimpse of what he can do. Certainly it seems as though he has the faith of teammate Fernandes.
