Manchester United’s next weekend opponents Brighton are expected to miss key defender Adam Webster for the upcoming game.
United are scheduled to face Brighton after Tuesday night’s away game at Brentford.
The Athletic report Brighton will be without Webster, the Seagulls’ club record signing at £20 million.

Another defensive blow for Brighton
The former Bristol City defender went off with a calf injury against West Ham, 36 minutes into their draw at the start of December.
His absence was compounded by club stalwart Lewis Dunk, who sustained a knee injury this past weekend and is out for eight weeks.
To add to Brighton’s woes, defender Joel Veltmann would miss the United game if he picks up a booking in midweek against Wolves.
It leaves Brighton’s defensive options stretched thin, reliant on Shane Duffy, Dan Burn, and teenager Haydon Roberts, who is in line to make his debut in midweek.
Brighton are already set to be without Danny Welbeck, who is also not expected back until Boxing Day, report Premier Injuries.

Brighton always play United tough
Graham Potter’s Brighton never give United an easy game, with both matches last season decided by a single goal.
The away fixture last season was particularly dramatic, with Bruno Fernandes scoring a penalty winner after 10 minutes of injury time – after the final whistle had blown, thanks to a last gasp VAR check.
Despite their injury problems, Brighton sit 12th, and have drawn four of their last five Premier League matches.
