Manchester United opponents Brighton and Hove Albion have a couple of fitness concerns heading into tonight’s match.
Manchester United take on Brighton tonight and the talented Seagulls side have a couple of injury problems they will be concerned with.
Brighton injury news
Brighton’s official website states that defender Joel Veltman is ‘unlikely’ to feature against Manchester United after being withdrawn against Wolves at the weekend with injury.
Striker Evan Ferguson is also a doubt. He missed the semi-final against United but he has not been ruled out entirely.
The fitness report says the talented Irish striker will be assessed ahead of the game to see whether he will be available.
Brighton have former United striker Danny Welbeck available, who we know all about. He talked up the Red Devils’ ‘amazing players’ earlier this week. They also have German striker Denis Undav, who scored twice at the weekend.
Perhaps the biggest miss might be manager Roberto De Zerbi. The Mail report he is ill and could not be well enough to feature in the dugout.
Brighton left Kaoru Mitoma, Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister on the bench against Wolves at the weekend. All three are expected to return to the starting line-up against United.

Manchester United injury news
From a Red Devils perspective there has been no change, as Erik ten Hag explained yesterday. Alejandro Garnacho may not be fit enough to travel.
Raphael Varane and Scott McTominay are making progress but won’t be available this week or against West Ham this Sunday.
The most concerning news is a referee appointment, Andre Marriner. He sent Casemiro off against Crystal Palace earlier this year.
