Manchester United are reported to be giving serious consideration to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s future.
The Mail report United are alarmed by the club’s form and Solskjaer is ‘ fighting to keep his job’.
The paper claim the club’s board is ‘giving serious consideration to axing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’.

A damning report claims senior stars Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo are concerned at the club’s form and lack of direction from Solskjaer and his coaching staff.
Ronaldo is said to be particularly worried by how far backwards United have gone in his 12 years away.
United are still said to be undecided over Solskjaer, with all options open over the coming days.
Reports of the players turning could be the beginning of the end for Solskjaer. He looks like a manager failing to inspire his squad and the performances on the pitch reflect this.
Rodgers linked
A surprise report from Caught Offside claimed on Sunday that Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has a ‘verbal agreement’ to become United boss next summer.
The Mail‘s report addressed this, writing that all parties had distanced themselves from the claims: “On Sunday night, United and sources close to Brendan Rodgers played down speculation that the Leicester City boss has already been approached to replace Solskjaer.”

Rodgers’ Leicester drew with struggling Leeds at the weekend and sit in 12th place in the table.
The report made little sense as United are clearly not in a hurry to make a decision, and if they do axe Solskjaer, it will be begrudgingly.
Nobody wants an interim boss again unless they are of the highest calibre, and nor should Solskjaer continue as a lame duck until the summer.
