Atletico Madrid are battling injuries as they prepare for this week’s Champions League first leg at home to Manchester United.
The latest complication for Atletico is whether winger Thomas Lemar will be fit.
AS report Lemar is ‘doubtful’ after missing Saturday’s win over Osasuna and he also missed Sunday’s training session.

Atletico are hoping he can be passed fit, because another winger, Yannick Carrasco is out for both legs due to suspension.
Lemar has scored three goals this season and provided five assists.
Two other Atletico players missed Sunday’s training session and are also unlikely to face United.
These are full-back Daniel Wass and striker Matheus Cunha. Neither have been officially ruled out, but both picked up injuries earlier this month and are not expected to feature.
One player who could be fit is star man Antoine Griezmann, despite not playing a single game yet in 2022.
Griezmann did participate in training on Sunday and is available for selection against United, AS report.
Defender Jose Gimenez was substituted at half-time against Osasuna, and while he will have to prove his fitness, he is also expected to recover in time for Wednesday night.
After losing at home to bottom side Levante in midweek, Atletico won 3-0 away at Osasuna at the weekend, with Joao Felix, Luis Suarez and Angel Correa on the scoresheet.

United have largely fit squad
United have a nearly fully fit squad to choose from. The big question mark is over striker Edinson Cavani.
Cavani did feature in first team training at the end of last week and is expected to make the trip to Spain, although will likely have to settle for a place on the bench.
Nemanja Matic has also missed recent games due to a shin injury, but he was named on United’s bench against Leeds.
