Anthony Martial had a day to remember in midweek when he scored his first Sevilla goal in the Europa League.
Back to La Liga at the weekend, Martial had an afternoon he would rather forget.
Martial was substituted just 25 minutes into Sevilla’s 1-1 draw away at Espanyol.

The Frenchman had touched the ball only three times up until this point before he had to be withdrawn, after suffering an injury.
Sevilla manager Julien Lopetegui was quizzed on Martial after the game and gave an update on the forward’s condition.
Lopetegui told AS: “We have to do tests. It seems that he has had a knock, we have to learn more about the extent of the injury.”
Marca report Martial had pain in his hamstring and the player felt unable to continue the game.
Martial could also miss the next two fixtures, with Marca reporting: “It will be very difficult for him to travel to Croatia [to face Dinamo Zagreb] and perform on Sunday against Betis.”
The Sevilla v Real Betis derby is fiercely contested and with the teams sitting second and third in La Liga, it is one of the biggest in a while. It would be a major blow for club and player if Martial was not fully fit.
Sevilla could only draw the game 1-1, losing more ground on league leaders Real Madrid, who beat Alaves 3-0. United loanee Facundo Pellistri was an unused substitute in that game.

After such a positive night on Thursday to score his first Sevilla goal, it is a major blow for Martial if this injury causes him to miss time.
It could also be a by-product of a lack of regular football at United, and his body reacting negatively to the sudden upturn in playing twice a week at Sevilla.
This was the 26-year-old’s fourth start in a month for Sevilla, the same number of starts he had all season at United.
